During the Spring 2024 semester I worked as a Junior Design Co-Op for the Brooklyn Public Library. I was responsible for the design of a variety of print, digital, and promotional items from concept to execution.

Branch Exterior Flag Refresh

Tasked with redesigning exterior flags to hang outside of various library branches.

Digital Iterations

Final Flags

The flag redesign showcases BPL’s primary brand colors as well as a map of Brooklyn in the background. The parts of the map will change to match the location of the branch where the flag is hung. The words “play,” “read,” and “find” are a simple representation of the ways patrons of all ages use the library.

Ned Vizzini Teen Writing Contest

Designed a book cover and section pages for the 2024 Ned Vizzini Teen Writing Contest.

BKLYN Incubators

BKLYN Incubators are programs supported by the library branches in partnership with organizations from the community. As a designer assigned to an incubator project I worked with library staff and their community partners to create a visual identity for their program. Each project could consist of the production of fliers, digital graphics, and promotional items.
